I don't really know much about this guy but a 7-foot wingspan sounds exciting! Can he shoot the three at all? They make it sound like it was broken but it said 38% on the screen
Re: Draft Day Thread
I really like the pick. Hopefully we keep it.

Hey, Tim. What am I, chopped liver? Recall that he was my top choice among those likely available. By the way, since I dislike Thibs I'm not giving him any credit for this. :) I'm taking full credit.

I'm a bit concerned about his 41% FG percentage overall. But he hit 38% of his threes as a sophomore on a fairly robust 4.2 attempts. The really exciting news is that he got to the line nearly 7 times per game. That's really, really impressive. And he hit 82% of those free throws. He also had nearly 2 steals per game. Note also that he's one of the younger players in the draft as a 19 1/2 year-old Sophomore

He is a guy I really have liked for weeks. I was a little surprised he was moving down the mock draft boards.

Sorry, Monster, I'm taking all the credit. None left for you. :)

Wouldn't one of Cam's guys actually be a negative? I mean given his history on projections?

Cam does his homework on the draft. He's batting 500 at least. It's such a crap shoot.
Re: Draft Day Thread
My hope about my friend's source is that it was based on a scenario that had a certain player available some other team wanted enough to be willing to take on Gorgui's contract. Perhaps it was based on the assumption that Troy Brown would be available, which most draft boards predicted. Just keeping my fingers crossed that we hang on to this guy. Has Thibodeau or Layden addressed the media yet?
