Nice pick by the Sixers. Shamet is a terrific shooter who comes to the NBA as a PG, but can play off the ball next to the long PG named Simmons. The big question mark with Shamet for me are the foot issues he's had. Because of that, I wouldn't touch him.

Robert Williams still available. Sounds like the Celtics are going to take him. He could be a top 5 pick based on his physical talent. But motor and attitude are a big deal.

Has made strides as a jump shooter over the last couple of seasons, but still has plenty of room to grow. 25% of his shots in the half court were catch and shoot jump shots which he converted for a terrific 1.339 points per catch and shoot attempt [93rd percentile] and another 31% came on pull-up jumpers which he scored only 0.740 points per pull-up jump shot [42nd percentile]. Has promise as a floor spacer. Shoots the ball with a fairly fluid and reliable release, but not particularly quick when given time and space. Flashes intriguing scoring potential when his shot is falling.

Good find Monster. He certainly seems to have the potential to be a guy you can't leave alone in a Shane Battier sort of way (i.e. accurate, but low volume). But these days teams need a couple guys that can knock down a high volume of shots even when closed out on hard. Our wing rotation as of tonight (Butler, Wiggins, Okogie) has no one that can hit 3's in volume. MLE has to be focused on a sniper.

Both Jon K and Wolfson are reporting the Wolves are keeping Okogie. Thinking back to the pre draft PC Okogie seems like a guy they would select and keep. Jon K said they are still trying to make a move to get another pick.

It probably needed to be regardless of who we drafted but yeah. Okogie might fit the Miami Heat model of drive and kick for 3's.

The Warriors just got a great pick for them in Jacob Evans. I'm still surprised Thibodeau didn't take him. He would have been my second choice after Okogie based on hearing that Thomas didn't want to come here.

Thanks for the info, Monster. I like the idea that we're trying to get another pick. The guy I want now is Musa. If we can buy a pick or trade a little something for a pick to get him, I'd be thrilled.
