2014 draft, 2nd contracts for top 10 picks
1. Wiggins: $146.5M, 5 yrs
2. Parker: $40M, 2 yrs, team opt yr 2
3. Embiid: $148M, 5 yrs
4. Gordon: $84M, 4 yrs
5. Exum: $33M, 3 yrs
6. Smart: $52M, 4 yrs
7. Randle: $18M, 2 yrs
8. Stauskas: $1.6M, 1 yr
9. Vonleh:
10. Payton: $2.7M, 1 yr

Wiggins is only better than three of these players and yet he's a max player. That deal is abysmal.

He's only better than three of those players? You're hilarious. And getting less credible every day.

I forget that you get your feelings hurt whenever there's criticism of Andrew Wiggins. Instead of a counter argument you just point the finger and get emotional.

The truth of the matter is that Jabari Parker, Joel Embiid, Aaron Gordon, Dante Exum, Marcus Smart, and Julius Randle ALL have better VORP, BPM, WS/48, and PER (except for Smart) metrics than Wiggins. They're all impacting the game more than he is despite Wiggins being more talented and more physically gifted. Tell me why that is? He's a glorified role player getting paid the max, but he's not making a positive difference when he's in the game. The other six that I listed are. That's what happens when your best [only?] skill is scoring and you're inefficient at that.

No, what you forget is that you're a troll and you're constantly looking to elicit emotional feelings. Because of this i ignore you for the most part. I only comment when you get too outrageous and need to be put in your place. I can guarantee you no feelings were hurt and i didn't become emotional.

Right... Because I don't ever support my arguments... and I'm never right...

Trolling takes far less effort and intellect than what I provide to this forum. I'd actually like to think my opinions/takes are appreciated here. Additionally, there are enough posters here who provide good discussions and debate so you ignoring me is fine.

Thanks for "putting me in my place" though.

I can only speak for myself. I don't appreciate your takes and I don't respect your opinions. If others give you that courtesy, then good for you. To me discussing anything with you is pointless and a waste of time. kind of like the time I'm wasting responding to you right now.

Hey look, another slap fight! It's been at least 10 minutes since we had the last one.

Yeah, it's the "boring" part of the off-season. The only real remaining moves are veterans minimum signings and lackluster trades -- Darrell Arthur and a second round pick for Jared Dudley, for example. There's a lull in activity and emotions, ahem, are running high. I shouldn't be surprised, especially considering the source.

I'm just going to point out that one reason every single one of those other guys didn't get paid more is they didn't stay healthy. That's all.

Also I think it's clear to me that Cam has tried to be more respectful on this forum and I've noticed and appreciated it.

Anywho back to vacation.

If this is what being more respectful is like, how was it before?

Games played:

Wiggins 327
Gordon 264
Smart 261
Randle 238
Parker 183
Exum 162
Embiid 94

63 games more than the next closest. That's a pretty large chunk of almost 1 whole season. That's why his deal is so much bigger than theirs. He can be counted on to be on the court. Wiggins actually makes less per game playing 82 games a year than Jabari's deal when he's playing 46 games a year.

Plus what is he, one of the 5 fastest to 6000 points in NBA history or something like that? Don't you need to have some ability to achieve that?

Look, he can deny it all he wants. But Cam was trolling with those comments to try and get a reaction. Whether it was from me or someone else, he got his desired result. Shame on me for engaging him.
