What would you like the team to improve? I am curious to see what you would focus on in a trade for Wolves.
Couple weeks ago, many wanted the trade Wiggins for cap space. With his recent inspired play.....maybe some have changed tune?
I would love to see a guy like Joe Harris (or similar) to improve our ability to shoot 3's. This would come at the expense of Okogie, but I am OK with that for this season.
If we make a trade.....

It would take more than Okogie to get Harris, I believe. He's an elite shooter and finisher in a game predicated on efficiency -- 3P shooting and scoring at the rim.
Re: If we make a trade.....
I would just stay pat. I can't think of a good trade to make us better that teams would do that would set us up for the future also. Also don't think many sellers this year because the majority of the teams in the playoff hunt.
Bad teams
Hawks: Bazemore would be the guy I would want but hard to match contracts and they don't want gorgui. Lin is a position that we don't need.
Bulls: Portis would be good but we have 3 PFs. Lopez would be a good backup center but wouldn't give up anything to get him because the upgrade from gorgui to Lopez is not worth assets
Cavs: jr Smith is a no, Thompson is a no, Burks playing well. Maybe Burks for bayless.
Suns: Maybe bayless and a heavily protected 1st for jackson but even that do I want to eliminate trades in the future for jackson, I don't think so.
Knicks: Bayless and a 2nd for Lee. Meh.
Wizards: Bayless for Morris. Meh.

I generally don't participate in trade speculation threads, but I continue to think a resurgent Jeff Teague could bring back a reasonable return ( no ideas what though), and allow Okogie to fit better into the 9-man rotation. We'd have to rely on Bayless for backup PG minutes if Rose or Jones got hurt, but I don't think he kills us if he has to play 12 minutes.

Draft picks plus Teague for Kemba. Let put our nuts on the table.

Re: If we make a trade.....
It's gonna be pretty hard for this team to improve via trade. You're talking about improving Teague and Dieng and there aren't many teams with an upgrade to Teague they are willing to get rid of and/or take Dieng's bloated contract. The real opportunity was Tyson Chandler and filler from the Suns for Teague and bench G. He came in and instantly upgraded the Lakers D and he's doesn't need a ton of minutes at his age. We just weren't in the right place to make that trade at that time though. We're at the worst talent level because we really just need another all-star to elevate the team and those are the hardest players to add to your team and we aren't bad enough to go for Zion.
Re: If we make a trade.....
Teague has been ballin since coming back from injury and now has a new coach. I believe McHale said last night that Teague was really happy about Ryan getting the opportunity and wanted to help.
If the Wolves are gonna be without Covington for a while I say sign Brewer to a couple 10 days or something. Sure we need shooting but just another legit wing player that knows what to do and will play with energy and knows The team sounds like it's not the worst thing in the world.
Also Tolliver is helping the team right now playing as a wing. Not sure we can do a whole lot better than him right now. Let's get healthy and roll.
