Post by crazy-canuck [enjin:18955461] »

Thibs is dead man walking. Who you got.

1. Stackhouse

Gleague coach of the year and back 2 back finals appearances down the.

905s have the best defense in the league.
- first in defensive rating
Hes known for player development.
- he's basically responsible for the raptors bench squad
He can relate to the young guys.
- during that jax and wiggs spat, it was stackhouse that intervened came in to support wiggs.

2. Any of the spurs assistants
-messina, udoku, or harmon. Its pop, enough said

3. Saunders
- hes the guy i think kat and wiggins will get behind right away.

1. Griffin for gm

- guy sounded intelligent in his interview abd seemed to have a better grasp of our lockerroom than thibs had.

2. hinkie?

- couldn't be worse. The process part 2.

Add Jay Larranaga, the top Celtics assistant, to the Coach list.

At this point, Glen should focus on replacing Thibodeau on an interim basis.

Then we are basically looking at saunders, pinckney, greer, or even sam mitchell (not coaching, but knows the players and organization).

Correct. I'd add McHale to that list. My pick would be Greer. I don't think Sam would do it and I wouldn't blame him for telling Glen to take a hike if asked.

I like the idea of adding Griffin for the PBO

Greer couldn't cut it in Toronto.

Im going with pinckney.

"Fizdale comment: "Ed has played in numerous different roles and is able to communicate with guys in different positions throughout the roster. He has also been taught and worked with some of the best franchises and coaches in the NBA. On top of that, he is a great communicator and a guy that guys would enjoy playing for."

Can we get a package deal with him as coach and the assistant GM that a bunch of other teams have wanted? Yeah probably not...

For whenever we make this move we are just looking for a guy that doesn't suck won't be a jerk and guys will at least have some fun playing for. Greer supposedly runs the defense so that doesn't exactly inspire confidence but he seems to have a more enjoyable presence and might be more open to doing a variety of things across the board. Ed P. Sounds fine with me for guy just to get us through.

If for some reason Ryan Saunders has communicated or communicated to Glen he has no interest in taking this over then Malik Allen would be an interesting younger guy but you can't hire him or John Lucas III unless Ryan doesn't want it because that just wouldn't be right.

I still think bringing McHale back is problematic. I wouldn't hate it but...and I would think he would turn it down. What's Sid Lowe up too? Randy Wittmann? Sorry Rambis isn't available he is a special advisor to the Lakers now. I'm joking about these other guys McHale wouldn't be a joke at least.
