It's kinda funny if you look at the shooting percentages they aren't actually that bad. The defense wasn't good enough to win but The Wolves could have easily hit a couple more shots and won. Maybe they were just too hyped for this game especially early on. I think that would be somewhat understandable.

I think you are right about the overhyped part. I also don't think rose and wiggs should ever share the floor together. Its clear that his role becomes the floor spacer in the corner. Wiggs is what he is. Flip figured it out early as did self in kansas, he is too content to just be on the floor when there are other shotmakers.

He passed up an open shot for an open shot for a better shooter. Rose needed to be ready to shoot. Too bad he was so damn good down the stretch before that. Ryan supporting his guys saying they emphasize ball movement and Dario will make that shot next time. Dario has struggled offensively wifely the last few games after playing really well for a long stretch. He will get back to playing well on that end soon.
Yeah, I agree. Jim Pete criticized Dario for not taking the shot, but I actually thought he made a nice extra pass to Rose...we'll never know why Derrick didnt pull the trigger, especially considering how hot he was in the second half.
I'm not worried about Dario, but he was awful tonight.

He was and in some ways he wasn't as bad as it looked. Taj has been the clearly better player for what like 4 games now? Saric just couldn't buy a basket in that first half. He took a long 2 which Inwanst thrilled with bit a couple weeks ago he was hitting those at a nice clip. Was is defense bad? I think they should have had him match up more on Powell instead they had him making sure dirk was guarded so he didn't clang more 3's. Lol The bench got outplayed and that was partly Saric fault. I'm with you I believe in him.

If Wiggins can't share the floor with another shot creator we need to pump up his trade value and deal him this offseason. I don't believe that personally. Wiggins did a lot of good stuff tonight not enough but a lot of good stuff including the do shit stuff people want him to do. He played a team high minutes and took the 2nd most shots. He really was attacking a few times in transition. That's BIG if he keeps doing it. I think he is one guy that benefits from seeing how Rose attacks is the defense isn't back and relatively set up.
crazy-canuck wrote:What is wrong with saric? He looks like bjelly out there (twolves version, not the kings one).
You might be surprised if you look at the basic traditional numbers for these guys both for the season and this month. Saric hasn't looked great but still has been more efficient than you would expect. Belly STILL doesn't take enough 3's.
