It was a matter of time. I'm quite surprised they didn't give him til February. By no means am I complaining though

At least they did it after a win, so the day ends even better!

Well with this kind of timing there better be something that pushed Glen over the top or else what respectable person would want to come here if they can just get fired randomly? It was the right move but the timing is extremely questionable and a real bad look after crushing LA who is in the 8th spot.

As @KCJHoop reports, Hoiberg's preference is to remain in the NBA over college basketball -- regardless of UCLA's interest. Ultimately, Hoiberg could have his choice of jobs with the Timberwolves. Not both, though. Minnesota wants to separate front office and coaching duties.

At least they have wised up on the dual role nonsense.

Told that Fred Hoiberg is not in the immediate plans for the Timberwolves. Certainly could change over the long haul. But for now, Wolves going with Scott Layden and Ryan Saunders.
