Saying the government is letting anyone who wants to cross the border is simply untrue. Don't complain about people lying about one administration and then saying things that simply are not true about another one.

Yeah, you're right. They won't let the freedom seekers from Cuba in. But c'mon, if you make it to the southern border from Guatemala, Haiti, or Mexico - they are letting you in.

Well...it turns out they aren't letting people from Haiti into the country either. What else don't you know?

They most certainly are, what is your source? I get my information from the left leaning Twitter.

As I had asked previously, if you are a socialist we don't have to bother with these arguments. At least then we can agree we have different ideologies and have an understanding we won't find common ground. Is that what this is?

My source is many news outlets some of them very negative towards Biden for not letting Haitians in. Again you said everyone was being let in and that was simply incorrect.

Is your position that if someone doesn't agree with you we have nothing to talk about? What is that going to solve? Also we have already talked about socialism I'm tired of you making assumption seemingly looking for a reason to write off anything I say. What makes you so defensive? I pointed out that your facts were simply incorrect and then you suggested that my ideology is different so we won't find common ground. That's basically a way to dismiss me because it doesn't seem you can handle the idea your position/facts could be even slightly wrong. If that is the case it should worry you.

We've seen a trend here over the past few months.

1) Post an unconventional, or even sorta pretty far out there, claim.
2) Skirt the issue, move the goalposts or avoid it entirely when asked for verification.
3) Rinse.
4) Repeat.

It's not only ok to be skeptical of the powers-that-be and big business and big government or whatever... it's probably pretty wise to seek out a wider range of verifiable sources to be more knowledgeable about issues. But what's going on in this thread is pretty amusing in a sad, tragic way that speaks to what's happening in our country.

I'd think it was a satirical take if I didn't know better.

[Note: I'm not even suggesting one side is wrong. But if an unconventional claim is made... it's up to that person to back up the claim. Or it's going to be easily dismissed. It's like somebody saying that D. Russell or A. Wiggins are the two best players in the NBA... but not offering any solid proof other than "you're not stupid enough to believe conventional thinking on this, are you?" when questioned about it.]

* the other trend is some lame-ass whining about OT political threads... but occasionally popping in on one of them. Sorry, but sometimes, I'm just too tied into my Commonsensist party to sit idly by. ;-)

Biden warns new restrictions forthcoming due to the Delta Variant. Yet no movement to slow the incoming traffic at the border. Makes a lot of sense doesn't it? 161 different countries and at least 1 million illegals have crossed our southern border so far this year. This administration does nothing but prey upon the weak and especially the stupid to gain more and more power. Anyone with half a brain knows this isn't about a virus. It's about control and stealing more elections in the future.

By the way, who really is running the country right now? Most of us know it's not the dementia patient who can't even wipe his own butt. Monster, who did you really vote for? Obama? Soros? I have no clue, but at least I knew the whole Biden for President thing was just a charade.

There is certainly reason to be concerned about Biden's cognitive state. I don't see how he finishes the term. Biden in my opinion won the election because he was not Trump. I think a number of voters thought how could it be worse and well it is too early to tell, but we might be witnessing it.

I do love this video. It gave me a chuckle.

This video gives me hope in America. (no clue who Charlie Kirk is)

Do you have an example where I did this?

Bleed, Biden won the election due to layer upon layer of cheating and election rigging. It's not even mathematically possible he won. Watch what's happening in Arizona, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin in terms of election audits. I think it's too late for anything to be done about it, but eventually everyone will see and know the truth. My hope is that we can trust our election process again someday. Today it seems doubtful.
