I'd sacrifice that guy for one who will miss paychecks as that's what we're really trying to be rid of.

I hear ya but with Wiggins and Teague gone this team gets real thin around the perimeter if Conley goes down

Please trade Wigs to Milwaukee. He would be great there and I would love to see him get a ring.

I would for sure not give up a 1st rounder, no way. Conley gets hurt a bunch and is older.

Straight up for Wiggins, I might do that.

I don't get it, PG isn't our problem.

Yes please. Wiggins for Conley. Just because only 2 more years vs. 4 more with Wig.

Exactly, that's what I've been trying to say. It's a way to trade out two years of max salary so that we have more flexibility to rebuild around KAT while he's still here! The beauty of it is that at the same time we get a really good PG for a couple seasons.

The part that gives me (and others) pause is if they also wanted an unprotected first. Then I'd hesitate because those draft picks are just as important to building around KAT as freeing up salary.

What do you do with the 3 point guards we have?

Lord...I get we want to get rid of Wiggins, but this board would implode next season if we were paying Chandler Parsons $25MM to play like 5 games next season. Ain't no way he takes a buyout for cheap, and ain't no way any other team takes his contract....expiring or not.

I believe there will be deals out there for Wiggins that are a lot better than this. There is a fact that many teams are starved for any talent, unproven or not. Wiggins gets points (inefficiently), and a team will value that simple skill. And everyone LOVES a pet project where they are sure they can get more out of them than their last employer. Just like many on this board thought Wiggins would be a different player under anyone not named Thibs.....just sayin.....

This is what we have to cling to - that some GM/Coach combo out there believes that yes, oh yes, they know how to get the most of Wiggins. I just hope it's not OUR next GM!
