Once Teague went down someone was going to get those minutes. Josh was fun tonight. I loved Saunders calling the time out fearing another Josh turnover. That was a pretty hilarious moment.

YES.
The league is actually looking into changing it so heaves don't count against the stat sheet. It's something I've been watching. And I like players who take those heaves (Rose/Westbrook/Curry) just a bit more than those who don't (nearly everybody else).

It was funny when he and Gentry seemed to battle over who could use more of their extra timeouts right before the 3:00 minute mark... when they'd lose them automatically.

Saunders called one... I think Gentry called two?
I was watching that closely too...and chuckled when Gentry called two back to back! How refreshing it is to have TOs available late in the game when we really need them. Some will consider this an unfair take (and you know who you are :) ), but I'll say it anyway. Control freaks use their timeouts too early and then don't have them avialable later when they are essential...coaches who trust their players save their timeouts for crunch time when they are really needed.

I think saunders is going to name one of his time outs, the okogie.

Ha! The kid is fun to watch, but man it can be painful at times.
I noticed at one point last night that Josh was 1-8 on three pointers, but 5-5 on 2-pointers (he later missed one) and 4-5 on free throws. I'm still not buying into the concept of Josh as a volume three point shooter, and wonder if Ryan is going to start coaching him to focus more on getting to the basket and not taking so many threes. Josh's handle on driving to the basket is excellent for a rookie.
