Clips @ Twolves GDT

Post by Q12543 [enjin:6621299] »

The Clips are playing the second game in a back to back, having won at OKC last night in a close one. Rubio is back (yes!), but I'm sure Chris Paul will find some way to torture and annoy us.

Go Wolves!

Another good opportunity to help turn our season around. Really looking forward to this one.

Yeah, the Clips are on the back end of a BTB, but they're 2-0 in that spot and last time beat the spurs on the road by 24. This is a tough one to win.

We get Rubio back, and that will be helpful. Chris Paul has been marvelous so far (32.4 PER, are you kidding me?), and Griffin and Redick are playing really well too. They're winning even though super-sub Crawford is only shooting 39% (28% on threes). But does anyone think he's going to have a poor game against the wolves...never happens. Hack-a-Jordan better be on the menu if the game is close...got to get his 39% free throw rate to the line as often as possible. Maybe Thibs throws some Hill and Payne out there to foul him. Our only other hope is nepotism...Rivers is playing his son 24 minutes a game, and he's been dreadful. I like Tyus in that Duke matchup.

Would love to beat the clips tonight, but unlikely the way we've been playing. Hack a Jordan!!

Rick Rube is back, we are rested and the Clips played a tough game last night. If we are ever going to beat them, this is the time.

I don't know, LST. Tyus might not see the floor. Thibs said Dunn would be first PG off the bench...

Young T-Wolves, be prepared for the following to occur, not necessarily in this order:

- A Chris Paul blatant flop or two that gets called in his favor.

- DeAndre Jordan hooks his arm under the arm of one of our guys while going for a rebound, then pretends to be the one being fouled by feigning the inability to jump for the rebound and get untangled from an opponent. He'll get the call.

- Jamaal Crawford awakens from his slump with hot shooting.

- More DeAndre Jordan....plenty of moving ball screens that frees up Chris Paul for an endless series of mid-range jumpers that he'll never miss.

Thx Tim...I hadn't seen that. Well, it answers the question we have been asking here. I think most of us were guessing Tyus had moved ahead of Kris at PG, but Dunn is Thibs' guy so I guess this makes sense.
