Minnesota Clintons vs. Brooklyn Trumps-Election night GDT

I haven't started a GDT yet, so I thought I'd take an easy one...against perhaps the worst team in basketball. Sure, the Nets have a better record than the Wolves and have only one blowout loss, but this is a bad team. And with Jeremy Lin out, they're forced to play Vasquez and Whitehead at PG...not a good tandem at all. But the Wolves are in disarray, and we don't know whether the Sunday Hamilton matinee will improve their play...he wasn't much of a team player either. The Wolves are favored by 4 and, if their petition to the NBA to skip the 4th quarter is honored, they could win this one easily. Brooklyn doesn't shoot or rebound well, and will turn the ball over a lot with their backup PGs, so there will be much despair if we don't win this one...and rightly so.

The players attending Hamilton was ONE TIME my wife would have been VERY happy to be a basketball player. She is pretty much obsessed with that show. Lol

The 6th game of an 82 game season is never a "must win," but this is as close as it gets. Win tonight and I like our chances tomorrow against Orlando and getting to 3-4. Lose tonight and 1-7 is a real possibility. That's already digging a deep hole as far as making the playoffs.

I can't watch tonight which might be a good thing. If they carry over their 2nd half play against OKC they will get beat. Gotta play with some urgency tonight, share the ball, get out and run, do whatever it takes. Winning ugly would be acceptable tonight. Just win.

Their second leading scorer is.....Sean Kilpatrick! Anyone remember him? He had a brief stint with the Wolves in our shameful 2014-15 season when we needed an emergency wing. He shot 30% from 3 in those four games with us. How is he shooting the ball with Brooklyn you might ask? 40% from 3....Of course. If he lights us up tonight I'm going to curl up in the fetal position and cry myself to sleep!

Oh I remember him. Wolfson always comments about him so that makes it a bit hard to forget. I also remember Justin Hamilton, Anthony Bennett and Randy Foye. Beware of the revenge game from those guys!
