Minnesota Clintons vs. Brooklyn Trumps-Election night GDT
Re: Minnesota Clintons vs. Brooklyn Trumps-Election night GDT
I thought everyone wanted more rebounding from Wiggins? I don't get it. Not a perfect player but brings his game up another notch so far this year and people are still bitching. He wasn't and hasn't been the problem this year. Our interior D (still after all this time) and shitty PG options still are our weakness.

Yeah, I think it's unfair to blame any one player. I've never thought of Wiggins as a superstar type of talent but he can absolutely be an all-star level player. Combine that with Towns' superstar potential and it's a pretty good 1-2 punch on offense.
To me, this is all about defense, toughness, discipline, details - things I'm not sure KAT or Wiggins are very good at yet. If these two are supposed to be our two best players, I'd like to see them start leading on the other end of the floor.

Well put Q. It has been a rough start but those details have to come with Thibs at the helm. It may be too late for us to snag a playoff spot but there were going to be hurdles. I think both KAT and Wigs are going to come out of this better players though.

I agree with this completely. I'm not saying I don't like Wiggins, I very much do, but like KG wasn't the guy you wanted taking the last shot to win or lose, it's looking like Wiggins isn't either, thus far anyways.

Didn't catch the game but why did Dunn only play 16 mins?

The one thing I don't get is KAT and Dieng were dominant defenders of the rim in college and they are just garbage in the pros. They leave their feet too quickly. They get pushed around. Why has none of their defensive dominance translated to this level? Good defenses are built from the rim out and our defense at the rim is just garbage with 2 guys who should be plus rim protectors. I just don't get it.

Remember that one time when you thought this team would in 50 games?
