I get where people are coming from about Wiggins not being a pure shooter but I'm not sure I am closing the door on that being a relative asset for him. He is 21 and is going into his 3rd year in the league. His career average on 3's is around 30%. That's certainly not terrible. That's in the same realm of what Kobe shot in a 4 year stretch in his 3rd-6th year when he started playing big minutes and taking a bunch of shots. I'd say he ended up being ok. Good thing he wasn't doing that in this era! Sure Kobe had other skill sets that Wiggins doesn't have but Kobe's game was based a lot on his jump shot.
Lets wait a couple more years and see where we are at with Wiggins when he will be the ripe old age of 23. Wasn't it early on last year he wasn't hitting shots efficiently and people were wringing their hands with worry? He went on to shoot nearly 46% from the field which was a fairly worthwhile improvement over his rookie year.

I became convinced last year when they came up with the Stats to the quickest players to 2000 points. When he was put with those players there was just no way that someone so talented was going to improve in the other aspects of his game. Especially with his great attitude and work ethic. The kid is awesome, and we are lucky to have someone who makes scoring look so easy.

You can really tell wiggins put in a lot of work on his game this offseason. He looks much better shooting the ball. Most improved on the team in my opinion.
