Front Office and Taylor Unified on Plan to Move Butler

Post by Coolbreeze44 »

Terrible news for Wolves fans. Not that Butler will be dealt, that's good. But apparently the axe isn't going to fall on Thibs. Back to the 1990's offense I guess.

I don't know, Cool...I still think Thibodeau is a dead man walking. As Hines tweeted late this afternoon, both reports are true...Woj's report that Thibs didn't want to trade Butler yesterday so Taylor told other owners just to deal directly with him, and today's report that Thibs is now on board. So Thibs has had a "change of heart" in a last-ditch effort to save his job, but I don't think that will change how Taylor thinks of him. Think of how pissed off Taylor must have been yesterday to tell his fellow owners not to talk to his POBO! That kind of anger doesn't go away easy. Taylor will let Thibs do the work to find the best deal out there for Butler but will also remain closely involved. And meanwhile he will be talking with his minority owners about the best way to replace Thibs. It's just a matter of time...

Man, I hope you're right. We need something to give us hope.

I agree with lst that thibs remains on the hot seat and thibs agree to trade jimmy only to save his job. I dont know if I'l feel bad for thibs. He is a desperate man now. He has no life other than basketball and he is a lame duck coach for now who will most likely be fired in the next year.

Only thing saving his job now is that we are days aways from starting vamp and there is no time to find a replacement. He is walking on very thin ice from hereon and the whole world knows it. His f bombs and antics will look more and more pathetic.

If you don't fire him immediately, you look like more of a shitshow franchise.

He didn't do his job. He createf this issue. He is an eyesore. You fire him immediately and try your best to sort it out.

Interesting. Woj is reporting the opposite that Thibs is shutting down calls and Taylor is telling Layden to not only take calls, but even make calls.
