I seem to recall that Butler was really being hampered by that injury he came back from. I had assumed it was Thibs decision to sit him in the 4th quarter, not Butlers. But I guess we never heard the reasons.

Thibs said after that in the press conference game that Butler said he couldn't go. Coach always makes that decision and yes the Im sure he was in pain. But there was something there that caused Jimmy to not want to even ride the plane with his team. Clearly he had one foot out the door and wasn't going to risk anything by playing when his team needed him.

Well, for those of you that want more reason to dislike Jimmy Butler, I just heard a little tidbit from a well connected friend that lives in Minneapolis. Apparently after the big Denver play-in game, he and his girlfriend went to Manny's, whereupon he made them stay open until 2:00AM and then stiffed them by paying for only half the bill and leaving no tip because he wasn't happy with how his meal was prepared.....sounds like the humble, hardworking kid from Tomball has become an arrogant and entitled jerk.
