Woj: Free agent forward Nemanja Bjelica -- who had agreed to a one-year deal with the 76ers -- informed the team on Monday that he will stay in Europe this season, league sources tell ESPN. He never signed his contract with Philadelphia.

This makes me appreciate the Tolliver signing a bit more now.

If Tolliver brings energy, hustle, and can pump in those 3's like he did last year, he will be an upgrade. I liked Bjelly, but he wasn't a rah-rah type and was too often a bit indecisive in pulling the trigger. Plus the refs screwed him all the time. Tolliver won't have to deal with their bias.

I have confirmed that this is the case for Bjelica. With a young family he is looking at all of his options

Very interesting. Maybe Belly will come back to the Wolves for the minimum. I know he liked living here and felt comfortable with his family in this community. He also liked his teammates. Apparently, he's a pretty shy guy. So I can see him considering Eastern Europe as familiar surroundings for himself and his family. But Minnesota would seem to be a natural second choice for familiar surroundings if he still wants to play in the NBA. Bazz came back for less last summer. So maybe Belly will come back for less this summer. Stranger things have happened.

Woj has tweeted Belly already back to Europe. Was just notifying the 76ers that he wouldn't be signing the deal.

Not that it matters now but the article I linked to said that Belly was stumped as to why the offers he was receiving were so underwhelming. He was never going to come back to the Wolves for less money. I won't be surprised if he gets a pretty nice contract in Europe. It's nice he has options. I wish him well he might be back but I wouldn't be surprised if he never comes back. I feel like I am taking a bit of a shot at him but the fact that he ended up going back to Europe even if it's a good decision for himself and his family makes me question if he would have ever been more than the inconsistent guy we have seen the last 3 years.

Edit: I believe Glen said on Wolfson's Podcast that they offered Belly just a 1 year deal also.

He's inconsistent and hasn't played more than 67 games in a season and he's a bench guy missing that much time. Not sure why he'd be shocked at low to no offers. I like the idea of Belly more than the actual Belly that ends up playing for us. He should be thriving in this age of the NBA as a tweener who can shoot 3's and defend on the perimeter and he's just pretty meh at the end of the day.

Leonard to toronto might be close.

Og took out pictures of him in raptor uniforms off his sns pages.

Early in the off-season, I thought Leonard would wind up in Philly, but if it's Toronto I'll still be happy about it. It gets an elite (when healthy) player out of the conference and removes the Spurs from being a top-four seed threat.

I read a rumour that the Bucks have made Kris Middleton available.

Wiggins and Dieng for Middleton, Snell and Henson?

If the Bucks are trading Middleton they are not taking a bad contract in Dieng back.

Woj and sham have both picked it up. Spurs and raptors are finalizing the deal. And demar is PISSED!

Spurs have to be flipping demar. Maybe for wiggins or to the clippers or lakers is my guess.
