Id look for a rim protector and i dont mean a guy who chases blocks at the expense of team defense because we already have 2 of those guys.

We absolutely need a guy to save us some points down there unless kat improves.

As teams go smaller and smaller, don't be surprised to see Gibson slide over to play some 5 while KAT is on the bench. This is why wing depth is so important...a lot of teams are basically playing 3, sometimes 4, wings and a point guard for long stretches.

Well we know if anyone gives a crap about how the modern NBA game is played, it's obviously Tom Thibodeau.

I've been pretty intrigued with him this whole offseason so I'm with oyu in having interest on the roster. This is the article I reference in my last post. I know this writer is pretty well regarded.

And this article somehow makes you want to sign this guy? With all the complaining folks do about Wiggins motor, etc....you want to sign a guy that is referenced as weak minded, not able to capitalize on his talent, highly injury prone, weak to come back from injury, and on and on? All from a writer you respect.....so we actually believe this to be true? What has this world come to?

I too love the idea of this guys shot blocking, but clearly their is a fundamental gap in either dedication or something drastically wrong between his ears. 2 face tatoos...not one, but 2!

At least Wiggins won't be alone.

Wiggins shares the same characteristics yet some people think the light bulb's gonna turn on now that he's making $30 mil a year. At least with Bebe if he can't do the one thing we'd ask him to do (block shots and chew gum on the bench), you can cut him.

If Luol Dieng gets bought out, I could see him having a place here. I also still have interest in Christian Wood.

I guess I need to clarify. In my post today about the available guys I mentioned this article as basically a qualifier and then in the above post I left it there for people to read (and digest for themselves) particularly the Nogeria's biggest supporter. Yes after reading this article it becomes more clear why he hasn't been signed by someone and why Toronto didn't resign him and it made me much less interested. He also doesn't seem like a guy Thibs and Layden would go after if he isn't serious enough about basketball. If we are looking at this type of guy I'd go after Eric Moreland or maybe even the theoretical upside of Christian Wood who actually has 3 point range. You have to be convinced of their upside though because you can pretty much sign a worthwhile big anytime you want if you need one.

Adrian Wojnarowski
@wojespn
ESPN story with @IanBegley: Knicks remain unlikely to reincorporate exiled center Joakim Noah into team under David Fizdale, still eyeing September waive-and-stretch.

Thibs is drooling about the news, he can finally get a defensive anchor on the team.
