Since its inception, the NBA three point line has become more and more part of the game. Well, for everybody except the Timberwolves.
- Over 28 seasons -- and 12 coaches -- the Wolves have ranked in the bottom 6 for 3 pointers made 21 times.
- They've never been above 10th for makes.
- They've been in the bottom 3 teams for makes 11 times.
- Over the last 3 seasons... when the number of attempts around the league have skyrocketed... the Wolves have been last... 2nd to last... and last in number of attempts under 3 different coaches.
Meanwhile in Baseball...
The strikeout has become a huge part of the game. How have the Twins fared?
- They've been last in K/9 innings for every season since 2010... until last season...
- When they finished 3rd from the last.
For the record, the Timberwolves are the worst modern NBA franchise by almost any metric. And the Twins have lost 92 - 103 games in 5 of the past 6 seasons.
Way to be trendsetters, Minnesotans!

Of course it doesn't help when we bring on allegedly good 3-point shooters and then they end up either shooting it less, shooting it less accurately, or both. So Wolves-ian. The number of damning stats one could come up with on this franchise is comical.

The Twins thing infuriates me when everyone in the world could see the trend of baseball and we just kept chugging along trying to find 90 mph arms with control like we were gonna pop out Greg Maddux's left and right.
