Yeah I didn't keep listening but after that it didn't sounds like he was a fan of Nate McMillan as a coach either. They misspoke that Belly started at PF.

The more I hear David Thorpe... the less I like him. Too self-serving for my tastes.

He's extremely critical of coaches. And he plugs the prospects he's coaching too much... and the players he helped train.

Skews what I think of his takes sometimes because I feel like he has ulterior motives for them.

Good point Abe. I think his takes at least in the past are interesting on individual players but like you said take his platitudes with a grain of salt. I think he had some worthwhile insight on Wiggins at the very least.
