I see a problem - the fact that our defense allowed the Knicks to score 96 points with over 8 minutes still left in the game!

I also notice that Ricky was just inserted back into the game at this point and recall that he helped lead a furious comeback. We managed to score 24 more points in the ensuing 8 minutes! How can that be with Ricky on the floor and everyone else playing 4 on 5!?

I will admit that Ricky has not played very well this year. And even in this game, he missed a couple of open 3-pointers in the 1st half that hurt. But at the end of the day, we cannot let a mediocre Knicks team come into our building and score 96 points with almost a whole quarter left to play.

Also, I really despise Brandon Jennings. Everything about that guy rubs me the wrong way.

Yes. We know the defense sucks. But we also have to acknowledge that PGs not being able to score 15+ points (or even 10 points) and more importantly taking only 6 shots in 54 minutes is a problem, too... one that can be seen throughout the team.

Agreed and when I have praised him when it's deserved to an extent it's always begrudgingly so.

Doesn't matter how many shots the PG takes if the team consistently finds a way to score. That being said, yes, we would be THAT much more potent if we had PGs that were more well rounded offensively. It's just tough to find all-around two-way PGs that aren't max money guys or on rookie deals.

As for the D, it was impressive - with the guy you're singling out in the mix along with the other starters. What they have been unable to do is sustain this type of effort/focus for anything beyond very brief stints. We saw it on the road against Phoenix......and that's about it. They have such a long ways to go defensively.

Great find Abe. Do you guys realize how many things this affects on offense? It is most definitely a problem. And some people want to run Dunn at the same time as Ricky. That would be basketballs version of gridlock.
