Good read. Basically making case that Lavine could play PG for thibs.

Another reminder that Thibs is clueless. In a PG league they're gonna try to win without one and it continues to hammer home how dumb the Dunn pick looks is hindsight.
Maybe they should try Wiggins at PF and see if he'll rebound better.

I think Zach can definitely play PG in this offense. Would like to see it.

It's just so tempting because he is theoretically such a mismatch from the 1. There was always a reason it was Flip's vision. If only he could play the position.

LaVine was an awful, awful point guard. I get why Flip tried it, but he was terrible at it.
I still think LaVine is a below average passer and play maker for a starting shooting guard, but he's not bad either. OK-ish I guess....which still makes him a poor point guard.
If Wiggins turned into a LeBron, D-Wade, Ginobilli, or Harden, we could absolutely run LaVine as the PG since he'd basically just bring the ball up and make the initial pass, then space the floor. But Wiggins is a loooooooong ways off from that type of wing.

There are times Lavine struggles to make a solid pass over to the Wing. I think the piece is actually well thought out it makes sense...but I wouldn't try it for a couple years. The Wolves have 3 talented PGs right now. Play those guys until neither works and if Lavine is the best option sure.

Yes to this. And KAT should play SF, his size is just too much for the opponents. (j/k)
