He never gets ripped on this board, and part of that is because he's consistently solid/OKAY, but did anyone even notice Dieng on the court tonight? I thought he was largely invisible.

He is really slow on rotations sometimes. I noticed him pick up the ball on quite a few layups and dunks. I think you point out Gs best role on the team as an anchor for the second unit. We still need a proper 4. Faried, Ibaka, someone to force KAT to the 5.

Espcially once Capela went out Dieng's usefulness in this game went way way down. I just looked at his stats and they were better than I thought and he played more than I thought he did.

I'm tired of watching him. His career might go down as one of my biggest disappointments as a Wolves fan. I was so high on him during his first 2-3 years and had such high hopes. It just never came together the way we needed it to. His game just isn't made for the current NBA.
Well, Dunn isn't exactly pushing Rubio. Thibs had to yank him earlier than expected in his second half stint. Not good.
Ricky filled up the stat sheet tonight, but yeah, he had a few terrible misses.
And few very untimely turnovers in clutch moments being too cute. It's not his outside shoot as much as never figuring out how to use his body and finish at the rim. It's just such a necessary skill for a high level basketball player.
Overall I think Rubio has been much more positive the last few games even with him not hitting shots. He has been a little more aggressive looking to get scoring opportunities for himself as well. He hasn't made the shots but sometimes you have to take them.

the next whipping boy of this organization if we pass up any of these PG's in the draft because of him.

The last chunk of games it seems like Dunn has made some real progress offensively. He seems to have found some spots and looked for his shot and more comfortable in general. I don't know if there are stats that really show definitely he has improved but he looks more comfortable to me. After his block party from the last game he is averaging .4 blocks a game and almost a block a game per 36 minutes. Not bad for a PG. :)

I agree. This is a strong class for PG's.

The "do shit" stats are there, but over his last 10 games he is shooting worse than Rubio. Let that sink in for a second...
Re: Kris Dunn is gonna be...
After last night Dunn now has had back to back games of a block 3 times as well and a 3 game stretch of a block each game. That's kinda impressive for a guard averaging 17mpg. His block rate seems difficult to keep up but it's impressive and when he goes up for some rebounds and comes down with it sometimes I assume it's a big not a freaking PG. He plays big and seemingly can cover a ridiculous amount of ground during a defensive rotation. He is a rookie and makes mistakes on that end but the splash plays and the athletic ability defensively and "doing shit" is as advertised or better.
