Lip the reality is it may make sense for you at this point to take a break. Other than sharing observations on games (which I hope you still share because you actually witness things we can't see) imho there is only so much to discuss that hasn't been discussed about this team and players etc etc until something pretty significant happens. That could be 5 games or 10 games or 20 games from now.
I've tried to take a step back recently and being on vacation probably helped that somewhat.
I think there is some frustration that we aren't used to. Why is it maybe more at this time than before when this team was actually terrible with a lack of talent? I think everybody knows this team is different. It has talent. We want it to happen. We know this team is different than what we have seen before even though the being beat down all those years makes us wrong our hands over stuff that maybe we shouldn't but it's understandable. We see there is something really legit at stake. We haven't had much of that except maybe a year with the Love Pek Rubio and some pieces with Adelman years and some posters were still not buying that team was anything but a playoff team max and that team didn't even reach .500. There is a lot of pent up excitement and frustration and dread and when will we turn the corner feeling here. It's hard to be patient. It's been a revolving door of players coaches etc etc. nobody has coached more than 3 season in a row since Flip did it. Ram is 164 games is 2nd to Adelman making him a long tenured coach of this franchise over that time which is sad since he was probably the worst. It's a new era with promise. But it's also a beaten down franchise with fans used to pawing their way looking to the future because they are used to the present being disappointing. It's weird that the present might actually be something worth being a part of even if it isn't super great right now. Usually it's just another re-re-re-rebuild we are suckered into.
IMHO we need to take a longer view and enjoy the process more and realize there will be bumps in the road. The Cavs just got blown up by GS do you think they are concerned? I doubt it. We shouldn't be panicking if this team doesn't bring it some nights. This team is gonna have klunkers some players are gonna look bad some nights. There will be growing pains. That's not easy to do so know alive been staked to that position since before the season and it's been hard to stay there at times. I've probably been to overzealous on my position at times.
Anyway Lip if you need to take a break it's cool but like I said I hope you choke in with some in person observations if you have some.
I'll say this though this board is still a pretty nice place to be a part of when I go and read a couple threads here and there at some other forums...yikes it can get bad pretty quickly.
Lip, I had to leave the board for similar reasons (not fun, too combative, etc.) so I can certainly empathize with your reasoning, though I think the relationships I had with some posters at the time were far more broken and damaged. That's a credit to you for having a much more balanced approach than me and I think I speak for everyone that's ever read your posts when I say you are appreciated here and your value is not ignored.
I'll miss your insight on all topics and our back-and-forth while you're gone, but I do hope you return when you feel refreshed and ready. Until then, drink a few for me and let's say a prayer -- or three -- for our Wolves to get back on track. Were they ever on track? Oh, boy...
These young guys need really just need a leader on the floor at this point. I was hoping Rubio was that guy, but with what Thibs is asking the trio to do he is not going to be that guy. Dunn might be perfect as PG for this team if he can develop more on the offensive side of the ball. Dieng to me is not the answer as a starter, but a good backup for us moving forward. Faried seems like the perfect type of player for this team because he gets by on energy and grit.

Maybe. But he's not exactly starting material either.
And he is on another young talented team that's struggling with only a slightly better record than the Wolves... if the Denver guys aren't following his lead, are we sure he'd be able to be a leader here?
