Yeah, I'm super sad about that. LaVine had extreme 3pt stroke potential. His fit next to Wiggins and KAT was damn near perfect... I don't see it with Butler, wigg, and KAT.

Hoiberg is probably praising Jesus that he finally got a shooter lol.

Lavine seems like a great fit with Fred. Also I really enjoyed Lavine as a person too.

Butler make $18.7 mill. Lavine and Dunn collectively made $7 million something. Looks like we dropped 11-12 million. Our cap also depends if we got relief on cutting Pek.

Woj confirmed Pek relief today

Wow just wow. I wasn't expecting it to get done.

Let's break it down to how it looks:

LaVine, Dunn and Markannen for Butler and 16th (to be determined).

I'm definitely liking it the more I think about it. Wiggins and Butler is an amazing wing combination and will send shivers through a lot of NBA teams. There are also the question marks on how LaVine will recover from his ACL tear and if Dunn will ever become anything good.

Future, I think Zach's fit next to Wiggins was less than ideal. They both were ideally 2s, who had issues on defense. I like Zach's potential, but wasn't crazy about giving him big money in a year. Now its clear that KAT, Wiggins and Butler get the big money. That I'm ok with. I liked Dunn as a tandem with Ricky so I'll miss Dunn. I also thought our pick could have gotten us a solid rotation player. If we strike gold at 16 and keep Ricky, I'll be ok with this deal.

Let's just hope Lavine doesn't turn into David Oriz 2.0!

Anyone know our cap space? Between Lavine, Dunn, and #7, that's $10 mil...and Butler is $17.5 mil. #16 is like $1.6 mil.

I'm not sure how much we had before the trades? I thought I heard like $25 mil?

Exactly...I'd be happy with defensive big at 16 and a shooter in free agency.
