He's small but pesky, not a great defender.

I'll be shocked if he is cheaper than ricky contact

If it is ball park the same price it's a wash and maybe a better fit system wise.

Exactly. Teague is likely a better fit with the trio of guys we have who can handle the ball.

If we're dumping Ricky for basically nothing, we better be getting somebody better than Teague in return (unless Teague is accepting a very friendly contract that allows us to pick up a couple other very good players).

It's gotta be Lowry at the point now or I'll be disappointed.

It must have been so hard playing next to an all-star and MVP candidate in Love. Ricky played with 1 trash roster the year after Love was traded when Wiggins and Zach were rookies. Other than that every team he was on underperformed to their expectations.

Did you see some of the lineups that Ricky played with during his time here? You have obviously forgotten if you did. Let me guess, the potential replacements would have done better, right?

But you could argue "how many alpha-dogs can one team accommodate?"

Teague for less money that Lowry would demand is just fine.

Wig and Zach's rookie year is the year he was out the majority of the year with the bad ankle sprain

If we're clearing this much cap space, and giving up a very good player for essentially nothing to do it, we need to get a star, pure and simple. CP3 is out, and after that it's Lowry as your star PG available this summer.

Yeah, but we are looking for a starting PG, a starting PF and 2 backing wings. It might have been tough a little over 20 mil. Now we have 35+ mil. I don't know about "star", but we should get a couple of damn good players.
