At this point, we need to be careful about making offers to RFAs. Once you've made the offer I believe you've tied up the money while waiting for the incumbent team to decide whether to match. That period can be as long as 72 hours. Remember Kahn's ill-fated attempt to sign Batum as a RFA? That's the drawback to making offers to the likes of Joe Ingles, Dedmon, Jamychael Green, and Jonathan Simmons.
The only RFA I'd take a chance on now would be Joe Ingles, but I'd want to have a solid basis for believing that the Jazz wouldn't match the offer. Otherwise, I'd focus now on certain UFAs, particularly Collison, Ian Clark, and CJ Miles.

The new CBA cut it down to 2 days/48 hours...man I almost brought out in that song from the musical Rent! Lol

Damn, I really wanted Joe Ingles, although I figured the Jazz would have matched anything remotely reasonable. Ugh.

He was absolutely the perfect fit for what we needed as the first wing off the bench. Shooting, defense, and passing. He's the anti-Bazz.

Exactly. I love Bazz's hustle, but he's just way too one-dimensional.
