There are a limited number of 20 point scorers on a nightly basis in this league and he's been doing it since he was 20. Oh and he plays 80+ games a year as one of the most durable players in the league. You guys might not see the value in him, but there are at least 10 teams in the league that lack that guy and/or would take him in a heartbeat over the guy they have now. ATL, SAC, Brooklyn, Utah, Charlotte, ORL, DET, CHI, LAL, Dallas.
K, but are those 20 points efficient or not? My biggest issue is that he's shooting 63% from FT and 32% from 3P.
If he could AT LEAST get back to last years numbers of 74 and 35, that's closer to league avg but still not max player worthy.
Honestly if the Wolves are going to get value from Wiggins he needs to be a very good defender (he's not yet) and a very good scorer/shooter. He's not yet.
There is still a chance he can turn it around and progress, we saw some on defense lately. So I'm not as critical as I once was. (Frustrated to be honest)
It's safe to say right now Wiggins is an avg defender and a bad shooter. Let's see those move up.
