Women's gymnastics team will have to earn the gold as a team.

Suni and Grace represented Minnesota well. Biles had a lot of mishaps but her difficulty level helps her score stay high. Skinner is done. Jordan Chiles has a horrible meet.

What happens to this if they don't win the gold?

I haven't watched yet.

I saw a practice video of Biles doing something apparently nobody else even does. I know some stuff about gymnastics but while watching the video I still felt somewhat clueless about how amazing it was.

I keep track of things in general, but haven't watched a lick of it. I'm mostly interested in how Rubio, Bolmaro, and Okogie do....and none of them even play for Team USA!

Yeah, Biles is a freak of nature and had the fortune of having Grandparents that could buy her a gym 8 years ago to train at and get her the pick of coaches. I am pulling for Suni as the underdog, but she has to be perfect and Biles has have a bad meet.

Sounds like Biles is out with an injury.

Is there a place I can bet money that she still competes for individual events?

Chiles and Suni had to step up without doing warmups to fill in her place. What a tough position for those two. Chiles had a great beam routine after a poor performance in the qualifier. Suni just brought it and you could see the pressure all over her face. In the end, ROC almost gave us the gold back, but they came through after falls on the beam.

I am not a fan since after the whole GOAT stitched into her leo at USA Trials even if it was a joke for the haters. Learning the rags to riches stories were a sham didn't help. I mean who's parents(grandparents) buy a gym for you and hires your personal coach and then plays the sympathy card.

Bronze for Regan Smith of Lakeville - I thought she would get the Gold, but didn't know her 2 year old world record had been broken.

Simone drops out of the individual all-around. Crazy turn of events. It will be great to see who steps up.
