Hmmm...seems kinda alarming at first. However, hill and Stephenson were barely on the team. I dont know how you can really convict Rose over that. Those situations never have a good solution. Is it rape cause she was drunk? Because of if so thats a lottttt of rapes around the world especially with partying prof. athletes. Anyways, not a fun convo but Im not too worried

I'd forgotten that incident with Rose. Makes a ridiculous signing even more inexplicable. But when you're determined to put the old band back together, nothing will stand in your way.

That article is such a reach, in my opinion.

I would say there is more fire to this than let on. I stopped being a Wolves fan because of their choices. My daughters asked why we don't go to Wolves games anymore and I had to explain to them I can't support an organization that openly makes poor decisions to hire people into the organization like Brunson. I will not support the Wolves again until Thibs is gone. I guess I would rather watch a team lose than a team led by losers.

I understand where Bleed is coming from and I hope he reports back on the situation he is familiar with.

The reality is there is systematic problems around the country in various organizations. That isn't a blanket "oh it's fine" but I don't know if the Wolves are specifically worse than other teams in the NBA. The stuff that came out of Dallas is bad but certainly not surprising.

As for some of these signings...are we not going to sign anyone that's done anything bad? What's the line? Derrick Rose was never suspended by the league unless Ali missed something. Like I said in the signing thread there is plenty of reasons not to like Derrick Rose. Are the Wolves systematically not giving a crap about some of this stuff? Idk. I would think the NBA and teams around the league would be looking into and being careful about their workplaces. We are likely witnessing a historical significant shift in society right now. Hopefully more of this stuff will be exposed and society can be better for it.

I stopped following the Wolves that time they drafted Pooh Richardson when Nick Anderson was available.

To compare the world of sports to the world of arts doesn't work. A good movie doesn't need Weinstein, TV Networks still have shows to broadcast without Louie CK, and bored morning people still have the Today show just with different people. Sport is about direct objective competition. You NEED the best players/coaches/player personnel people to consistently win those battles.

I think a better conversation when it comes to Thibideau isn't some guys he gave light money to, it's Thibideau himself. There's a very good chance they will miss the playoffs for the 2nd year with Naismith's grandson himself as coach AND be about $6.2m under the LUX with NINE guys under contract. I suppose it was all worth it if they move into the top 3, but that's a long shot. So it will be their pick, the OKC pick, an MLE guy, and 3 min contracts guys (Gentile? Dubljevic?), and then they'll be way over the Lux. Taylor needed to fire Mchale and Kahn (or McClosky for that mater) for this?

Think back to the Dante Cunningham situation. He seemed like a good guy in a bad situation. Decent player and if I remember right his GF came out and said she made it up. We didn't resign him and he struggled for a while getting a gig back.. I get what you are saying Jason, but I think the rules are different for difference makers and not for guys that are 9-15 on your roster.

I think culture is important. I don't blindly root for a team. I root for the whole organization and if I don't liek the players I usually like the team. AKA the Viings. Much easier for me to be a fan now that Zimmerman is coaching and AP is gone.
