The Road To The Playoffs (Wolves vs. Blazers)
Here we go boys (girls too?)!!! We are on the final stretch and it is mighty difficult, especially without our best player. Even though the road is tough I am hopeful for a great run, and hell, it sure beats looking through 57 pages of a draft thread started back in December!

Blazers by 15, off to check on more players with that 14th pick

Huge game tonight. It is not the end of the world if we lose. But if they pull out the W it is like winning 2 games because we would hold the tiebreaker over the Blazers for the year. Time to grab the playoffs.

If we keep McCollum in check we have a chance to win this game.

My feeling is this game will be in the bag by the middle of the 4th for the Blazers. The Wolves got their one road win for the next few weeks, with the way they have been on the road. Maybe with Butler out we will see more energy from Wiggins and Teague and keep it close. Maybe.

Yeah, really tough stretch ahead here. We need to be firing on all cylinders offensively because it's hard to envision our defense without Butler doing much to stop the Blazers.

Feed Towns. They have no one that can stop him. I expect another big game.

My guess is we'll see them try to post up Wiggins a bunch on McCollum, which will result in a bunch of tough mid-range turnarounds and push shots. Hopefully they go in.

Every time we play C.J. McCollum or Avery Bradley, the Wolves try to go at that matchup with Andrew Wiggins -- because of his obvious advantage physically -- and more times than not he does exactly what you said. It's always frustrating when instead of rising up and over the defender, he negates his length advantage and fades from the contact.

The warmup game is a pretty good one.
