I didn't watch the game. I expected us to lose, but thought we might keep it closer. Wiggins laughing under those circumstances is disturbing. Shades of Wes Johnson.
This was second really bad game in a row for Teague. Good Teague is very good, but bad Teague is equally bad and we've seen him too often this season considering how much he's being paid.
I think it's fair to say Embid is in Towns head. He was talking shit again after this game. Towns is the perfect guy to go after since he's obviously so hyper competitive and try's to pretend he's calm and collected. Going to be a fun rivalry moving forward.
Embarassing effort tonight. Seeing the guys smiling and laughing on the bench in this disaster is disgusting. These fuckers dont give a shit. Taj played like shit tonight. Hell they all played like shit except for the likes of jones aldrich hunt and brooks. What a god damn joke.
Im giving the team a mulligan, they were in a bad spot.

The second game was an early start.
Team expended alot of energy in the 1st.
Airplane troubles, so team didnt get into the hotel till 3 or 4 am.
Teague played.
Hopefully thibs sees that mgh is worth a few minutes at the expense of crawford down this stretch.

Towns has been better defensively since Embiid played him last time but Embiid is legitimately being talked about as a DPOY candidate. That's a big difference between these 2. Towns tries to really go at him and it's probably not the best idea at this point. The guy Embiid really owned was when he got Taj in the post.

It sounded like based on the Sixers broadcast (who were kinda homers) that the Sixers have been playing really well so this was a good opponent who was playing at home and they were full strength their bench is pretty well stocked.
The Sixers are legit people. They might take the 3 seed from Cleveland. Embiid is better than Towns and Simmons is better than Wiggins. It was a road game. There's nothing wrong with losing to that team on a back to back. And stop caring so damn much about guys smiling and laughing on the bench in a loss. They aren't paid to be emotionless robots programmed for your satisfaction. It's okay to not sit in shit and be miserable every time you lose. That's when the wheels really fall off and people have to go. Look at what the Cavs had to do because of a toxic team that was underperforming. Keeping the positive vibes up for this final stretch is more important than being grumpy and pissed and potentially toxic because you lost to a good team who just outplayed you.

I think Towns still tries to do too much in certain situations like when he knows people are measuring him up. I was more thinking about the times Embid defended Towns in this game. So many times you see Towns wanting something so bad that it affects his decision making. I think there's been some strides this year, like the Washington game, but he still has a ways to go with his pressure decision making.
