Wednesday, a radio remark on 1500ESPN that said Wolves forward Andrew Wiggins has whispered to teammates he's unhappy being a third option behind Butler and Karl-Anthony Towns ricocheted around the internet.

After Thursday's practice, Thibodeau called the claim and its sourcing "total nonsense" and said, "I know Andrew's character. There's no way in the world Andrew is saying any of that, particularly from a guy who's taken the most shots on our team."

When asked, Wiggins said, "It's just someone's word of mouth. It wasn't no quote from me. Everyone that knows me knows I don't talk much, I just go with the flow ... I don't whisper. If I say something, I'm going to say it clearly and loudly."

apparently, wolfson has also been doing alot of backtracking on his most recent podcast.

but im sure many will choose to ignore it.

Has anyone confirmed it was actually Patrick Ewing or was it just Rick Brunson?

As I've mentioned before, Doogie just makes stuff up. Worst sports "reporter" I can remember.

I think Wolfson gets a lot of good info and he has a lot of good guests on his podcasts. His bias shows too much at times (he even admits this) and his willingness to go after a scoop gets him in trouble at times. This "report" about Wiggins probably won't endear him to some Wolves related folks. Saying he just makes stuff up isn't cool the guy works his butt off for his bad info! Lol

Lol. That's a good one, Monster. Seriously, Doogie's problem isn't bias. His desire for a scoop is what gets him in trouble. It drives him to report what he hears from the store clerk or, yes, it causes him to just make it up.

I'm glad this story is going away, but I am disappointed I didn't get a chance to go off on Bill Duffy.
