There goes my 38 win prediction... fun game to watch - it sure gives one hope
Re: Sunday Fun day Warriors VS Wolves
We'll win a lot more games if KAT takes 24 shots like he did tonight.

Based on post game quotes. Teague told KAT to get your butt into the post and you are going to carry us to a the W.
Really fun game, all the starters played a huge part in the win. Tyus and Crawford also hit timely shots.

A quick comment on Derrick Rose. As everyone knows, like most if not every Wolves fans, I didn't like the signing. But I'll cut him some slack for his performance tonight. His main problem tonight was that he tried to do too much. He was obviously trying to prove himself and, as a result, he didn't play within himself. Watching him closely, it looked like he still has some game left. He made a couple nice passes and moved well without the ball. He's not as explosive as he used to be, but he has nice size and still looks pretty athletic and quick. He's always been a very good ballhandler and that's a skill that should still be there in spite of his five surgeries.
I still don't like the signing given our team's needs and the fact that other teams signed the likes of Brewer, Belinelli, and Ilyasova or traded scraps for a guy like Luke Babbit (why couldn't we trade Bazz for him?). But there's enough there in Rose's game, coupled with his veteran big game experience, to make me believe that he could end up winning a game for us down the stretch. We had a roster spot and Thibs either couldn't or didn't want to sign anyone else to fill it. So in the end, I'd rather have Rose fill that slot than have it remain open as we move into the playoffs.

Good breakdown of Rose Lip it's exactly how I feel about his game. One thing I noticed about Rose in watching some highlights of his it seems he is actually makes some cuts to get easy looks. He basically did that to get his one bucket. I agree he was trying to do too much. I thought he started out solid except that time early he got the pass and went down so assume it was a slick floor so thatvwas kinda bad luck. He had a nice drive and kick to someone and one of those drives there is no way he wasn't fouled.

Kat and wiggins with the others playing a great glue game. Also having our starters all play almost 40 minutes which meant fewer minutes for the bums.

At least Crawford scored 12 points. Other than a couple possessions his defense was pretty bad though it made what Wiggins and Belly were doing look even more impressive.

Yes, Crawford's defense was horrible tonight as was his 3-point shooting. But I guess we shouldn't be surprised. He's always been a poor defender and has never been a particularly good 3-point shooter. I've been harping all season on Thibs' failure to have some two-way wing depth. And here we are relying on Crawford as our sole rotation wing off the bench. We could really use Belinelli, Corey Brewer, CJ Miles or, better yet, Bazemore right now.

As much as I like Brewer wishing we had him here shows the lack of wings in this league. I still like the Crawford signing. Bazz being basically worthless really hurt. Getting a complimentary perimeter player for the bench this offseason would be big. We also need to develop some as well.

That's the rub. He looks the part. He acts the part. And we remember him being that guy.
He's not that guy. A glimpse here or there along with wishful thinking isn't enough. We're on multiple years now where virtually every advanced stat shows him as a liability on the court. It's ok to have one of those guys (Crawford) because he's a heat check guy who can occasionally swing games.
Two guys? No.
