Lottery or Bust Club!

Post by TAFKASP »

Who's going to join me? This team is pathetic and will get routed come playoff time anyways so lets make a late push for some lottery luck!

Wouldn't matter. Thibs would trade it away.

He'd trade KAT and the 1st pick for Swaggy and JaVale.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

I should have said Chandler Parsons and Marc Gasol maybe?

Even if they ran the table to finish with 38 losses that would only tie them for 22nd worst finish in team history.

Instead they will probably stumble into a couple more wins and rank top 6 or 7 in team history in wins for a season. This franchise has more sub 20 win seasons than 50 win seasons.

I know this thread is tongue in cheek but I do fear the wolves have reached the point of beginning of long term mediocrity where we will be on the edge of playoff vs lottery until our top players demand a trade and we start another rebuild. Thanks Glen and Thibs for the few months of promise this year - it was fun while it lasted!

Considering this franchises history mediocrity would be a vast improvement over like 2/3s of the seasons in team history. I know Towns Defense is less than encouraging but the guy is an amazing talent an this team isn't completely starved for talent aside tom him. Just imagine how pathetic this team would look this year if they hadn't traded for Butler. The win totals would have been in the 30's and we would have been scouting the NCAA tourney in earnest looking for the next player.

Exactly. You think Towns and Wiggins are going to want out after a couple of years of first round playoff exits? Imagine if we would have kept Lavine, Dunn, and Markannen and had another year in the lottery.
