Tyus Jones might be our best team defender after Butler and Gibson. He created something like four turnovers in his first half stint (two steals and two offensive fouls drawn). When you are ending possessions for the other team without them even getting a shot attempt, that's great defense. On the other hand, he really needs to find a way get the ball in the hoop. It's the one big thing holding him back in terms of eventually stepping in for a guy like Teague.
Well, Thibs did sub Tyus for Crawford late in the game when Crawford's guy blew right by and created a foul on KAT...
In other news, the Blazers lose to Memphis. Maybe our loss to Memphis wasn't the worst loss of the season!

Another reminder that The Nuggets lost to Memphis too. Hey those guys have something there right? I mean they are beating playoff teams down the stretch!!!! It's fun to laugh at your own homer fandom sometimes. It helps with the...being a fan.
Utah and Blazers lose. These last handful of games should bring with it some playoff atmosphere excitement . Atleast were not ten pages deep into draft speculation this year. That in and of itself has made this a bit of a successful year!
Ee wanted this team to be a top 4 or 5 team in the West this year and really a case can be made that they have been and maybe will be by seasons end. I have no doubt they would've been with a healthy Butler.
Glad Towns big game is followed with a day off. Had they played Dallas tomorrow I wouldn't liked our chances. Towns exerted a lot of energy tonight.
That Utah game on Monday will be huge!
