Lol. I think he's done it one other time, maybe twice. :).
Does anyone really think this team is on a trajectory towards becoming a playoff contender in the next few seasons? It's a combination of coaching and personnel. As head coach and PBO for two years here, Thibs is responsible for both.

I do. We were the 3 seed before butler got hurt. But I'm at the point if thibs is our coach we are in massive trouble going forward

Kahns - I agree with you. It has happened way too often this season. I suspect it has something to do with an attitude officials have towards Thibs. I can't come up with any other explanation, although Jim Pete seems to think it's the fact that other teams play more aggressively, resulting in more favorable calls. If I'm right, it's ridiculous. We should expect more from NBA officials.
The no call on the Wiggins hack was probably the biggest bullshit no call I can remember seeing. Just absolutely hacked and nothing. That ref deserves to be fired at half-time. Ridiculous.

At this juncture it's 100% on Butler's health. He's a special player. Maybe Towns/Wiggins combo can be special. Just not yet. Playoffs would be great for those kids.

That was just one of many bad calls tonight. But yep pretty bad. How does that not get called lol.

I think we're in massive trouble with Thibs as either our head coach or PBO. As we know, he's both. We were in 3rd when Butler went down, but we were a .500 team in the 25 games leading up to Butler's injury. And we suffered a number of totally unacceptable losses to far inferior teams even when Butler and the rest of our players were healthy. So I don't see this team on a trajectory towards championship contention. I like Butler, Towns and Taj as a core trio. But we need more than that and yet we're well over the salary cap and have contracts like Gorgui's and Teague's, that no team will take in exchange for any valuable assets. And in my view, our head coach doesn't get the most out of the talent we have.
