Should we be looking at moving Dieng's contract to help with the luxury tax issues next year? Something along the lines of Dieng and OKC first to Atlanta for Dedmon and Belinelli? Bellinelli expires so we would get a look at how he fits into our system in case we want to sign him next year, Dedmon has a player option at 6.3 million which he will probably opt out of but if he dosen't that would be a great salary to have him at., and if he opts out, again we get a look at him in our system and maybe offer the MLE to him in the Summer.

I like Bellineli and Dedmon, but attaching the first-rounder to Dieng to get two bench guys (not starting material) that could walk away is pretty risky.

If you want to go for it next year, try and trade for wall (he can not be traded until the offseason). Wizards players are taking shots at wall that they are now winning as a "team". They have won 5 games without him.
Something like Teague/dieng/patton/Aldrich and the OKC first for wall might actually get it done.
Wall just signed a deal similar to griffin did, so he is going to make a ton of money and has an injury history. In the trade I mentioned, they get a middle of the pack starting PG to take the place of wall in teague. Get a guy who could replace Gortat in dieng, get a young player in Patton and the pick and get some cap relief in Aldrich. We might have to take a contact back.
Wall/jimmy/wiggins/taj/towns.
Bench of Tyus/Crawford/MGH or brown or MLE/belly/cheap free agent pick up.
I'm calling wall is the next star that gets traded and like blake might not get "superstar" value back because of the injury concerns and money late in the contract

Just throwing it out there, but Wall is one of the guys I would trade a package around Wiggins for. The guy is legit on both sides of the ball and I do believe the best big 3 involve a true PG, Wing and Big. I don't think Wiggins is a great match in Washington so maybe a 3rd team would have to get involved.

I'm to worried about his knee to give up wiggins. That is a huge concern for a guy who uses his speed. He is real good though

If we were to go that route, I'd pursue Damian Lillard before I went after John Wall, personally. I understand the defensive weakness that comes with his game, but he's one of those guys that can be a one-man offensive explosion, much like a Kyrie Irving or Steph Curry, just not quite at that level. And his volume three-point shooting ability would be welcomed on a team that struggles in that regard.
Lillard, Butler, and Towns with Gibson and a 3/D wing sprinkled in.
I think there's a better chance of Portland taking Teague and Wiggins than Washington.

What would you be willing to give up for Will Barton and his Bird rights?
He's very similar to Kent Bazemore with what he'd bring to the team, so I won't lay out what I feel like he's capable of, though he's not as good, in my opinion. I will argue he's probably a lot easier to be had and that's likely due to two things -- his contract is expiring and Denver has depth at almost every position.
Would you trade Aldrich, Bjelica and a 2nd-round pick for Arthur and Barton? I like Belly as much as the next guy, but I'd be for that. Would Denver make this move in order to basically erase Arthur's $7M contract with a $2M cap hit in Aldrich next season while adding a skilled but expiring Bjelica and a draft selection?
I think getting Barton's Bird rights would be huge because I do not think he's going to be in play with the MLE. Just out of price range.

I'll also add that the Wizards can't possibly re-sign Kelly Oubre after next season since they have Wall, Beal, and Porter to pay. He's 6'7, rebounds, defends, and hits the three ball at a decent rate while being 22. I'd add him to the list of guys I'd be open to trading the OKC first for.

Barton is an interesting target. I bet especially because of his low salary this season (make him easier to move) the Nuggets field a lot of calls about him.
I wouldn't trade Belly. Sure he has problems staying healthy but I think it's likely we keep him cheap and he is what this team needs in the battle to improve 3 point shooting and he can do more than just camp out there at the 3 point line. Besides Denver already has like 3 guys similar to Belly on their roster right now plus Millsap.
I think Barton may be one of those wings this offseason that doesn't really get paid. The full mid level might be enough to get him. I would give up a random 2nd rounder to bring him in this year but the Nuggets are unlikely to do that. I agree with you Cam he is likely gettable though because Denver has Lux tax concerns and they probably feel like they have a guy that can replace him like maybe Malik Beasley. The Nuggets probably aren't going to just give him away either. They are still in the playoff hunt.
Re: Share Your Trade Ideas
I think we need to make every effort possible to get off of Gourgi's contract. I'd give up G and a 2nd for a serviceable big on an expiring contract. If we could turn G into an effective wing that would be a miracle as far as I'm concerned.
