I'm usually with you monster but in a huge game we need to come away with it and we didn't. Playoffs in huge danger now

I agree. No more excuses for this team. We lose a game at home against Memphis, one of the worst teams in the League. In fact, we get manhandled by them. We have a huge game at home against a key rival, the Jazz, and get dominated. And here we have another huge game against a good but not great team and although we make it close we lose. Thibs holds out Butler for the Laker game. Teague continues to overdribble. Wiggins stands around on offense and finishes 4-12, which might have something to do with a PG who doesn't make his teammates better. Not acceptable.

The Blazers lost last night to basically the G-League Mavs. The Wolves aren't the only team losing to bad teams. People have been so beaten down by this franchise they expect the worst. Of course if this was a bad team that would assume we would win too many games and hurt the draft pick. Let's be honest even a tanktastic Wolves team would have a decent chance of winning at least one of the upcoming games. It feels like the sky is falling or homerism sometimes with nothing in the middle. Just sayin.

If Jimmy doesn't play tomorrow I'll happily call myself wrong. If he plays I'm calling bullshit that one night where they have to travel made the difference and he's good to go to play.

This is ridiculous. If Jimmy isn't ready to go, he isn't ready to go. I'd blame anyone who forced him to play before he was ready!

This is about the rest of our players, specifically Towns, Wiggins, and TEAGUE. We should be a playoff team with those three being the trio if the "potential" is to be believed..

Towns showed up, but he absolutely cannot foul out at that point of a game. You chance a foul and give up a potential two points and take our best player out of the game, or you make the right choice by avoiding the foul and allowing an easy make or a potential miss.

Wiggins is complacent, what's new.

Teague is just a terrible fit at PG for this team, and i've stated such since the beginning. We have 3 iso players - 2 stars, 1 potential star. You either keep a playmaker at PG or pure 3/d pg to pair with Tyus - AKA Ricky or ?/Tyus. Yes, Ricky needed the ball in his hands to be effective, yet he is light years ahead of teague at deciphering a defense and looks to pass first. Teague needs the ball in his hands and is looking to score first.. How does any of that make sense with 2 ISO dominant wings and an extremely gifted offensive big???

We lose to bottom feeders in a playoff run! It's inexcusable.

Future -- If it's true that Butler was cleared to play either tonight or against the Lakers, then I agree with Kahns. But I don't know if that's a correct interpretation of Butler's status. Otherwise, I agree with you completely that this was a game we should have won even with out Butler. More important, we've lost far too many games to bottom feeders or mediocre teams this season even when Butler was playing. I've been with you from the outset in viewing Teague as a bad fit at PG for this team. Wiggins' tendency to disappear, a rap on him coming out of college, showed itself against tonight. Then there's Thibs' iso system, which is why Thibs wanted Teague instead of Ricky.

TNT said he was medically cleared to play, but not medically cleared to play a back to back. That's the info I'm going off.

From a nothing to a star. Competitive as they come. Do you really believe that Jimmy Butler is not playing if he doesn't feel 100%??

I think it is an easy avenue for fans to focus blame on our star rather than focusing on the BS of our other players and our coach.

Monster I want to say I am usually with you. We have had 2 chances in a row to basically clinch a playoff spot and we failed. At some point we got to nut up and win an important game.

Before the UTAH game the wolves had the worst record in the NBA against under .500 teams for the teams that are over .500. I've been with you on bad losses happen but they have happened to us the most of any NBA team. So we have to make it up somewhere and we are not taking the bull by the horn.

I want a team that shuts the door on the nuggets playoff hopes tonight. They didn't. Now instead of fighting for possible home court we are fighting to get in. And we but an inconsistent team in the situation where we have to not have any more let downs

A couple things. First, the Blazers have a near lock on the 3rd seed and I wouldn't expect them to have the same sense of urgency the Wolves should have had against the Grizzlies. Oh, and we were at home against the Grizzlies. Second, yes you can find examples of a good team losing to a bad team during the season. But it's the number and nature of the Wolves losses that sets the Wolves apart. Losing to the Suns at home when we were completely healthy and the Suns were without Booker. Losing at home to the Wizards when we were healthy and the Wizards were without Wall. Losing twice to the Grizzlies, including a home loss last week when so much was on the line and losing fairly handily. Of course, there were the road losses to the Hawks and Nets. And there was the home loss to the Sixers before they were rolling and when they were without Covington.

The Blazers have clinched a spot and have all but wrapped up 3rd seed. Their margin for error is a lot bigger than ours.

Do you know why we expect the worst from this team? Because that's all they allow us to expect. This is a collapse in progress. I think it hurts more optimistic fans that cynics of this team are gonna turn out to be right AGAIN! The same people that were poo-pooing this team even at their peak are gonna turn around and tell every fan or pundit who had hope "I told you so." Somehow the idea of this even happening is now very realistic when it should have never gotten to this point.

I'm gonna say what I said a year after that version of the Wolves disappointed everyone: How do you go into next season lying to everyone and putting on a front to get people excited? First personnel guy to say "well they did some nice things this season" deserves a tomato thrown at them and I hope Glen says it.

Future - I can't speak for Kahns, but I don't think he's blaming Butler. I think he's blaming the coach who apparently had the choice to play Butler tonight or tomorrow night agasint the Lakers. There's no way Butler said he didn't want to play tonight. So I put that squarely onthe coach unless I hear definitively otherwise. In any event, overall I put this loss on Thibs and all the other players except Towns.

Agree 100% with you we have 2 guys that who will be on a max contract. A former all star PG, a career winner who is having a career year. A former European league MVP, NBA MVP. 2 national champions (one who is getting paid 15 mil a year) and a 3 time 6th man of the year player. Find a way to win
