could be a lot worse news...
Teague Injury
Re: Teague Injury
That's a relief. ACL surgery would have put him out of commission not only the rest of his season but most of next season as well.

Re: Teague Injury
Very good news.
My quick search yielded a recovery time between 3 and 16 weeks depending on the severity.
My guess is him being young and having the best rehab available it'll be towards the 3-4 weeks. Though I don't know the severity of course.
Tyus can step up, no doubt in my mind.

Re: Teague Injury
per Jerry Zgoda,
"Wolves call Teague injury a Grade 1 left MCL sprain, call him out "indefinitely." Good news on Teague is a Grade 1 MCL sprain is most mild of three grade classifications. Just FYI because everybody is different, but...Stephen Curry was diagnosed with a Grade 1 MCL sprain in last spring's playoffs & missed about a week. Return likely sped up because it was the playoffs."

Re: Teague Injury
I was hoping it just looked bad and it wasn't the worst. Good that he will be back soon enough. In the meantime Tyus will get to show what he can do. The bad news is Aaron Brooks has not looked too good and that's the really tough part.
Also it felt like Teague was finding his game on both ends much more consistently even without the 3 ball falling. Now when he comes back it may take a bit of time again.

Jeff Teague (knee) will be active, in uniform and available to play Sunday against the Pacers, but he won't actually take the court.
Advice: Teague is in his home state of Indiana for Sunday's game, but he won't be doing anything other than waving to the crowd from the sidelines today. He's going to miss at least the next 2-4 weeks of action and Tyus Jones will be starting in his place.
---I'm not sure about the 2-4 more weeks though. My guess is less then 2 weeks.
