Thanks Duke. I didn't see Harper's breakdown, but I clicked on the link you gave. It was far better than mine because of the video clips and comments!

It seems to me by far the biggest issue is the communication and decision making off of screens, whether it's ball screens or off-ball screens. I think we are generally pretty good guarding players in space. But man, once a screen is set, confusion and mis-communication rules the day.

In both sets of analysis, there are some plays where I can't really fault the defense too much. The Wall long 2 for example. I don't mind giving up that shot. The Favors 3-ball. Gobert set a great screen and made a great dive to the rim. KAT had to cover that.

I didn't see the game, but it's good to hear you saw some improvement on the defensive end. I think Lip was at the game and noted the same thing in his mini game report. Unfortunately, again they weren't able to get any stops at the end when they were trying to hold the lead...same old sad story.

It wasn't getting stops like I said they literally pissed away some possessions. Rubio threw a pass to the camera guys on the baseline...there were others every starter other than maybe Dieng contributed a bad play like that or a bad shot.

Anybody see Thibs reaction after that one?

An anguished "WTF!"... followed by an even more anguished "WTF!!!"

A lot of familiar themes going on at the time. The Wolves were in the middle of self-destructing. Defensive issues all over the place. Rubio passed up a shot. And a coach who was really frustrated with his players and let it be known.
