When people said Rush was a 3&D player I didn't realize that meant he was incapable of doing either.

I don't think anything will beat Bleed's comment about Love out-rebounding Wiggins, even though Love had been ruled out of the game! Although it did lose it's luster when Bleed admitted he was serious - he didn't know Love wasn't playing...

Denver really is poor on defense. This is a matter of who can be less bad on that side of the ball, because neither team is going to have a problem getting past 100 points in this one.

Yeah, unbelievably we held them to 39 second half points. I think part of that was defense and part of that was the Gallo, Faried, and Chandler injuries catching up to them. The first half went exactly how I thought it would, but then Denver really struggled after that and we kept on chugging. It was the opposite of what I expected.

LOL, Tyus Jones was a +7 in only 11 minutes. I didn't even think he did anything very notable except for that poke away steal on Plumlee. Good things just seem to happen when he's out there.

Dunn with a rough shooting night again, but at least he was doing shit, getting rebounds, assists, literally taking the ball away from a guy - I mean he just grabbed it out of that guys hands - and once again came up with two blocks.

Rubio was terrible in the first half, but I thought he did a lot of important little things in the second half. He "won" the two jump balls, chased down a loose ball or two, got that head man pass to Rush for the quickie, made a nice in bound pass to Tyus for the final nail in the coffin.

Wiggins and KAT got it done though. They did the heavy lifting tonight.

Dunn looked decent tonigjt...like a good rookie. He was in control on offense (needs to work in off season on squaring up and going up in line with his shot). Some good assists. Always amazed by how high he climbs to get rebounds.

My usual "way-too-late-to-relevant" takeaways...

- I dig the green shoes on Wiggins. A lot. By the way, amid everything else... this marks the 2nd straight season that he showed improvement during the season. Now, I know I've pointed to stats that showed he was only on a gradual ascent, less than other elite guys... but it's a very good thing that he is finishing seasons strong after starting on the slower side. As much as it's an antiquated shot, I'd like to see just how "good" he is in the midrange. He can get that shot whenever he wants. Always.

- Towns missed so many bunnies. But it more than evened out on the other end with Jokic having one of his very worst games.

- I try not to look at the offense when Dunn is in the game. It's a mess. But I dig how, as noted, he literally rips the ball away from guys at times. I just heard the Celtics Play-by-Play guy gush about Marcus Smart and how he doesn't want him to ever be traded. Smart is Dunn on steroids. But I guess we can hope Dunn reaches his level? The scary thing is that Smart is younger.

- So Thibs prefers Belly over Dieng in the 4th? I've noticed it several times now. Yesterday it paid off a bit. There was another play not in the boxscore where Belly made a tip pass or something that was really nice, but the Wolves missed the shot.

- Jameer Nelson. 16 points. 11 assists. At 48 years old. The Nuggets are simply a better team with him on the court instead of Mudiay.

- The Wolves were fortunate (again) that so many guys were out.

- I dig Gary Harris. He can shoot. He has a but of bounce. And he's not unplayable on defense. Plus, he's made significant improvement in each of his 3 seasons... I see that continuing.

- Good win.

Did anyone actually track how many balls bounced to Love on the bench? It might have been close.
