I'm gonna go out on a limb here, and suggest that today might not have been Thibs' first impression of Ricky. My sources tells me that he watches NBA games occasionally, and might have caught a glimpse of Ricky once or twice. He even might have checked out his stats. But who knows, maybe today was his first impression. :)

it's a game thread. Don't get your hopes up. There will be more that will push this one down the list. But you should have some fun the coming 2 weeks.
I shouldn't of posted that. I was kidding, thought I gets some guys fired up. Actually pretty tame responses. Thought my life would of been threatened.
Watched most of the game today, Spain really choked this one away. Ricky missed some open shots early, never a good sign for him, then got in foul trouble. I was still surprised he got the DNP (other than a few seconds) in the 4th when Spain's offense was looking terrible. At about the 5 minute mark when things were going wrong I thought he would be brought back in. It kind've reminded me of Adelman sticking with Barea in so many 4th quarters that went wrong. But not defending Ricky here--he stunk today in the limited minutes he played. Hopefully he bounces back the rest of the tournament.
This has to be difficult for Ricky. He loves playing for the national team, maybe even more than the Wolves. To lose the opener and play like that has to hurt. Good thing he doesn't have to wait long for the next game.
