RPM has Andrew Wiggins ranked #408 with only 16 NBA players behind him.
So if we used the same logic, the Wolves should trade him for Marvin Williams... after all, he's ranked #44.

I never like using one stat to evaluate a player and RPM is no different. However, we're once again one of the lower tier teams in the league and on pace to win less than 30 games, so it should be no surprise we see a number of Wolves near the bottom of this stat. Wiggins has played more minutes than anyone else on the roster and contributes greatly to our inefficiency since his points to shots ratio is quite poor, so I get why he's ranked slightly negative offensively. Why on earth he's ranked so low defensively is a mystery to me. While I don't think he's a very good all-around defensive player, he's certainly not bad either.
Yeah he's been coming into his own. I waited on commenting on this kid because I really liked him coming out and knew it wasn't going to be easy for him playing with Kobe. He has a lot of great tools, hope he keeps improving.

The other night when I was playing ball I was talking NBA with one of the guys and he asked me how good Parker was. I said I really don't know. He was having a decent rookie season and then got hurt and I have a hard time really saying how good he is based on his first chunk of games back from a major injury. There have been a number of young teams the past 10 years that have had problems building because players kept having problems staying healthy. The Wolves Portland and GS were all teams that struggled with that with multiple young talented players struggling to stay on the floor and therefore not knowing what to do to go forward. So really I think the Jury is out on Parker and I mean that more in a positive way than a negative one.

...It wasn't really about touting myself and more so about seeing a good young player come back from an ACL injury he suffered in his rookie year. Parker and Wiggins were set up to have a fun ROY race until Parker went down. Personally, I'd like to see them both succeed.

Last year really would have been an interesting ROY race had Parker stayed healthy. It was already a bit of a hot-button issue around these parts. Efficiency on a decent team vs. Volume on a crappy one.
