Im going to make a prediction.

Barring serious injury, Wiggins is going to be an all star next year and we will sign him to a max extention after the season.

Wouldn't surprise me, as he will likely take another step forward offensively. Between his name recognition and another scoring jump, I can definitely see him making the all-star game. I also suspect the Wolves will on a lot more nationally televised games - that will help too.

More important to me is his defense and 3-point shot improving.

You forgot to mention his rebounding q. As big of a wiggins fan i am, his rebounding always irks me. Still, wig is going to be an all star next year.

Rebounding is a Thibs priority. It frustrated the hell out of me that Sam didn't seem to have any sort of "system" to help his team rebound. It just look like he was happy with every man fending for themselves to get a rebound. I think Thibs will help our overall rebounding a ton!

I honestly don't expect him to get much better rebounding the ball which is why I left that off. You just don't see 3rd year guys suddenly taking a leap forward with their rebounding rate, as that is a skill that usually shows up almost right away with guys. But yeah, it would be awesome if that improved too. Ultimately, I see him making his mark as a rich man's DeRozan or slashing version of Klay Thompson: Can put up points in a hurry when needed, but also can become an elite one-on-one defender.

That comparison rings true a bit for me since Klay is more of a SG but he doesn't rebound at a high rate either.

Wig can be as good of a rebounder as he wants to be. When he really wants to get after a board he gets it. It's his "want to" that holds him back on the boards. We will have to see if Thibs can instill more of that in him.

Heh, yeah, he's not striking fear in the hearts of Zach and Wig that's for sure.

The Wiggins dunk was just so effortless. He can be so graceful sometimes - almost makes it look too easy. Remember how last year he'd put that spin move on folks and often just finger roll it in instead of slamming it home? He teases a bit.

And after that dunk and being praised for what was obviously what his trainer was really pleased with what he did Wiggins seemed like he wasn't even pleased about it. It's both a little maddening and I love how he doesn't get all that emotional. He just seems like he is gonna be killer in the playoffs.
