I read earlier in this thread somebody sorry we didn't get Diaw. I agree. Would have been nice depth. Great passer. That guy was crucial to the Spurs playing so well a couple years ago. Nice character guy too.

To be fair, I don't think eating 2/3 of the buffet after games is a very nice thing to do.

Perhaps, but he'll help keep the other guys from putting on extra fat, so he effectively doubles as a trainer.
Coty Clarke looks good.

Anyone know if we can Amnesty Pek next year?
Huh!?!?!?!
We can't. David Kahn wasted our one amnesty in Darko to make cap space for Brandon Roy and Batum! So we're still haunted by Mr. Kahn.
Lip, look on the bright side... if Kahn hadn't screwed up everything, including the amensty, Flynn and only signing Love for 4 years, we wouldn't have either Wig or Towns. That's what I keep reminding myself everytime someone brings up another of Kahn's gaffes.
Re: WOJ Live: Free Agency Show
I thought Hoiberg was amnestied because Glen wanted to force him to retire.

Dunleavy?

Sources: In last few hours, Bulls calling teams to unload contracts, trying to create space to sign Dwyane Wade. Wade is serious about them.

Dunleavy and Gibson would complete us.

Hoiberg was amnestied under the prior CBA. That was a dumb one too, given Hoiberg's low salary at the time. Mismanagement starts at the top and we've seen a lot of it from the Wolves over the years -- starting with Glen on down through McHale (remember the Joe Smith deal?) and then far worse under Kahn.

Could we absorb Dunleavy contact with the bud trade exception?

exceptions have to be renounced to get the most cap space. You only need exceptions when you're over the cap.
