Both of those players have improved much better than the norm in the NBA. Both have become All NBA type players. That's definitely not normal maturation.

I think it's dangerous to assume that the Wolves will automatically be the anomaly.

Dangerous how? Will my house fall in on me? Will my wife divorce me? Will my dog bite me? Or will I just be wrong if it doesn't go that way? Because I have to say, after 22 years of marriage, 26 with credit for time served, I'm used to it.

By the time the Wolves are ready to challenge for a championship, Golden St. will have several under their belt, and their key players will be past their prime...In WNBA terms, the Warriors will be the Lynx and the Wolves will be the Sparks, and we know how that turned out. I think our issue in 4-5 years when our core is in their prime will be with another young team.

Golden State has the top 1 or 2 players at their position in four out of the five positions on the floor: PG, SG, SF, and PF. No other team even comes close and even if the young pups in Minnesota reach their ceilings, they still won't be that good at that many positions.

I think we should just not worry about Golden State for now and just first worry about getting into the playoffs!
