That only helps so much without a d-league affiliate but I expect that to come for the Wolves soon also. That rule would make it much more worth paying the money to have one.

Payne could also be cut or traded to open up another spot. It would be nice if we could get a roster exemption for Pek, but I am not expecting it.
Yeah the roster is fluid. I wonder if they would wait to ask for a roster exception for a while for Pek's spot because let's say they make a trade that uses up cap space they can get the injury exception and then be able to sign or trade for another player up to I believe half of Pek's salary. That's unlikely to happen but it's something to consider.
Spencer Dinwiddie was waived by Chicago. He always seems to have some fans buzzing about him but I looked at his stats the last 2 years when he played and um...
Rudez made the Magic roster for now. (Edit) and Onuaku.
I looked up Bentil and he was considering staying with the Celtics going to their D-league team but has decided to try and get on another team. I started remembering really wanting him in the draft (as a value pick depending on the spot he went) and man he talks about some nice players he wants to play like. It seems like for the price he would cost it would be worth it to drop Payne (hard not to be an upgrade right?) and sign him cheap. Remember the reports of him hitting it off without a Thibs? He has his former teammate here Dunn. Sigh I get so excited about the end of the roster guys sometimes but sometimes those guys end up being worthwhile.
Wayne Selden was waived by Memphis. He had a big game against us a few nights ago scoring 17, with five threes, a block, a steal, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and was a plus 28.

He would be an interesting signing. Could play PG/SG/SF for stretches. Good practice player.
