Q is poking fun at the "Rubio is injury prone" crowd. Is that crowd still in existence btw?

Exactly Phenom. Pork specifically since he always brought it up as an issue....had to razz him a bit there.

...but in all seriousness, with the way both Rubio and Dunn play, it really wouldn't surprise me if one or both misses some time. These guys are aggressive, all-out players. We have struggled for years with PG depth and the ability to play competent ball when Ricky is out. Keeping both for now makes sense on so many levels.

Yeah, Dunn plays all out, so he's going to make more contact with guys and go to the floor more. It's not an indictment on his body to worry about injuries. It's a recognition of the downside of playing balls to the wall. Of course, the upside of playing that way is we also have a guy who goes all out, which I love. We need that tenacity.

I can appreciate the jab fellas and it's probaby deserved but I'll wait till Dunn misses serious time in meaningfull games first. Then I'll be the flag waver of the trade Dunn committee I promise. But he's gotta miss half and full seasons first :)
And he has to be loved unconditionally like Ricky. That's the caveat.

And the numbers... Sure seems like Payne is getting bumped further and further down the bench!

I think this is a fantastic signing!

You really have to wonder if This signals Paybe being not only bumped down but off the roster entirely.

So the Wolves sofas have spent 33.5 million for 3 FAs. All 3 players address at least one need.

Hill for 4 million per is a bargain. He can play both PF and center do a little of everything decently. He has had some problems staying healthy in the past but he has played in at least 70 games the past few years so that's plenty.

I love what Thibs and Layden have done this offseason in FA and they still have cap space left to do something else.

Edit: The Wolves suddenly have a big deep group of bigs even if Pek KG and Payne never play.

Didnt see this but i agree. Glad thibs and layden decided to wait and nab talent on the cheap. I think hill is better than mozgov. Really gives us some nice depth . Love the deal.

Jordan Hill has legit flaws. But he's a pretty damn good deal in today's NBA at $4M per season.

Glen Taylor must be pleased with how prudent Thibodeau has been while spending his money...

Don't get me wrong: Jordan Hill was productive last year, and productive is good.

But MIN now has 15 players signed and only 4 are wings (AW, ZL, BR, SM). That is if we can finally agree that Bazz is not a PF, or that number drops to 3.

Kinda starting to resemble the '96 Blazer and '97 Bullets when Harvey Grant got way to many minutes at SG.
