It's only been 13 years. You need patience, my friend.
Guys, it's only two games with a new coach and an extremely young team. Both games on the road vs. teams looking for their 1st home win.
That being said... if the Wolves are legit contenders for a playoff spot... losing a game like this will linger. They had the Kings and let up. It's amazing how terrible one team can look and then everything switches so quickly.
any time they go up double digits I'm thinking there's a good chance they'll lose.
I think it's important to look at the type of players that have swung each of the first two games...
Zach Randolph in Game 1.
Matt Barnes in Game 2.
Both of these guys are bench guys. Both have a mean streak. Both have gotten meaningful minutes for successful teams... playoff teams... for many years. That stuff matters. Boxscores won't always catch it. Our eyes may not even always catch it.
But that's the beauty of hoops and why the Excel spreadsheet Masters won't ever fully take over the game. The Wolves don't have anybody on the roster even remotely close to either of those guys in any way.

Absolutely. We need to be able to equal the toughness of Randolph/Barnes, even Ty Lawson was banging us

I didn't like the look. Long 2 a foot or 2 inside the 3pt line? May as well go for the win at that point.

Yeah, I agree. The play Thibs designed looked like a play a coach might design to start a game, just to get a little flow going and maybe to get Wig going. A pick by a big to allow Wig to move around it and take a long 2-point shot over the outstretched arms of a 7-footer. Ok play at the start of a game terrible play with the game on the line.
